Muon decay triggering


The experiment to detect decaying muons is a cerenkov water tank where the light signal is read by two photomultipliers XP2020. The muon decay trigger is defined as a sequence of two signals over threshold within a time window of 30 microseconds (much larger than the muon decay time).
